Hello! I'm Joanne Hentnick, the founder of Our Playful Garden!

As a Massachusetts certified early childhood educator with nearly 3 decades of diverse experience, I have dedicated my career to fostering the growth of amazing young children. My passion is rooted in the magic of my own childhood adventures—building forts, making mud pies, and making discoveries. Knowing the proven, crucial benefits of connecting kids with nature, I created Our Playful Garden. We offer a unique educational program that blends nature-based lessons with exploration and discovery. Guided and supported free-play, that is carefully constructed to empower children to create, problem-solve, and lead their own learning journey.
